Experiencing our Surroundings

We have been discovering the wonders of the ocean with the kids a bit more lately. On our last visit to the ocean, Eva tasted a starfish and got pinched by a little crab on her finger, and Cora scraped her leg on barnacles. They loved low tide in the bay because they could run as far as they wanted and splash in the little pools. Then they discovered they could squat down just enough to get their bottoms in the water without getting completely soaked. Water was a bit colder than Lake Powell though they quickly discovered.

It looks like tons of fun. The ocean is a great place. The girls are so cute running in the water and the starfish Eva is holding is huge. What a great experience.

Looks so fun! We love the ocean - don't get to see it enough, that's for sure. I can't believe how huge the starfish is!
