Jenny and Missy showed their competitive spirit as they took first and second places in the Willow Brook Ward's first Pinkwood derby. They ran the wheels off the other competitors with average speeds of 231 mph and 229 mph respectively. We are very proud!! Jenny's car showed the power of flowers while Missy summoned the powers of the force as we cut off the heads and glued star wars characters to her car.

Very cool. It sounds like Daren is a pro at making pinewood derby cars. He'll know all the tricks by the time Zack arrives in scouts. We wish we had some of those skills. Alas, we are bringing up the rear every year. Oh well, someone has to lose and lose badly. We are building character. Haha.
Way to go Jenny and Missy! Your cars look extremely fast and cool. And Jenny - I like you a alot Jenny.
