The run of September Birthdays continue as we celebrate Mark's big day. Hope you had a very happy birthday Mark. Sorry we could not be there to celebrate it with you. I found this picture of you from Lake Powell that I thought was appropriate. At the time it seemed a little strange that you were wakeboarding with a cake in one hand and a gigantic birthday hat on your head, but now it makes perfect sense. You always were thinking one step ahead of the rest of us Mark. Happy B-Day from the Smiths!

Mark is an on-the-ball kid, isn't he. Posing for birthday pictures while on vacation two months prior to the big event. And you had the forethought to capture the moment and save it until his big day. Wow! You are just as amazing as Mark. I will be sure to show him how it turned out when he gets home from school. He will like it.
